📋1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading or using Paydeck ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users, including free and Pro subscribers.
The App is operated by Apex Mobile Labs ("we", "us", "our"), based in the United Arab Emirates.
🎯2. What Paydeck does
Paydeck is a freelance invoicing and expense tracking application designed for UAE-based freelancers. It helps you:
- Create and send professional invoices in AED
- Track client payments and overdue amounts
- Record business expenses and receipts
- Generate VAT-compliant invoice formats
- Accept online payments via Telr (Pro)
Paydeck is a tool to assist you — it does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. You are responsible for ensuring your invoices and tax filings comply with UAE FTA regulations.
💳3. Subscription & pricing
Subscriptions are billed through Google Play or Apple App Store. They auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Manage or cancel your subscription in your store account settings.
We do not offer refunds except where required by law or store policy.
✅4. Acceptable use
You agree to use Paydeck only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the App to create fraudulent or misleading invoices
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the App
- Upload malicious content or attempt to access other users' data
- Resell or sublicense access to the App
- Use the App in any way that violates UAE law
🏦5. Online payments (Telr)
Pro users can generate payment links powered by Telr, a licensed UAE payment gateway. When your clients pay via a Telr link:
- A 0.5% transaction fee applies (deducted from the payment)
- Telr's own terms and privacy policy apply to payment processing
- We are not responsible for Telr's processing times, failures, or disputes
- You are responsible for issuing tax-compliant receipts to your clients
🔐6. Your data & account
You own your data. We do not claim any rights over your invoices, client lists, or business information.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account PIN and login credentials. Do not share your account with others.
You can delete all your data at any time via Settings → Delete Account.
⚠️7. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements.
We are not responsible for any errors in invoices you create, missed tax filings, or financial losses arising from use of the App. Always verify your invoices and consult a qualified UAE tax advisor for FTA compliance.
🛡️8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, Apex Mobile Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
🔄9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
🇦🇪10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE.
